Kelly Clarkson is one of my favorite girl artist. All her songs have a really strong meaning to them and it is easy for girls my age to relate to them. This is my favorite song of the moment and probably of all time. I beleive it is easier for someone to get into a song when they can relate so much to the words that are being sung. Clarkson is a winner of American Idol, a show that I am most fascinated with because it gives young people a chance to show America what great talent they have. I can honestly say that Kelly is my idol to continue doing what I love to do the most and to believe in myself that one day a simple girl can make it to the big time.

The song talks about a guy thinking he knows everything about a girl. Most guys now think that they know everything that happens in a girls mind and think that is an easy way to manipulate a girl, but it is never like that. The song refers to a jerk that is no longer in her life but the guy thinks that any day she will go running back to him, but that never happens. And sadly this is an issue that is around in today's world. A girl is so use to the abuse of a guy that most of the time they think thats the only way of life but it's not. This song addresses a story that most girls can learn from and can go back to refer to it once it has happened. Her purpose for this song and all the songs she writes is to let girls know that they are not alone and that a similar thing has happened to more than one girl. Her songs talk about a girl trying to stay strong when such a hard thing has happened to her. The song has a bit of anger in it which is what every girl should feel but at the same time has a sense of relieve to see that the jerk is finally gone and out of her life.

The song starts out with a nice slow tune and when the lyrics come in is when it starts to get a bit upbeat. A song like this has to be mutual because it has some strong parts to it but at the same time it has calm moments. The song has a hip hop feeling to it and uses the most common instruments: piano, drums, and guitars. The instrument that makes it have a heavier side is of course the drums and the insrtument that makes the song calm is the piano and the guitar. All instruments work great together for this type of song. All these instruments are mostly used for all her songs, although she does have some songs that are more up beat and more sensitive, this song makes both look very good.

The guy thinks he knows everything about this girl and everything about everything in the world. It everntually got annoying and the girl had no choice but to move on and leave him alnoe. Every time he was around he made her feel like she was worth nothing but as they split he thinks that it will be the same thing as always and that she will go back to him. What he doesn't realize though is that she is tired of this game and she knows that if she goes back the story will just repeat itself. She feels like he has no right to tell her how to live her life and that she is not a toy of his. I can relate to this song from beginning to end and it is truly a story that has no end and will never have one.

A Critical Thinker

My friend Ivan is an astounding critical thinker. He is open-minded when it comes to any topic being talked about. Even though he might not agree with others opinions, he never shuts them down and listens to what they have to say. There is never an old topic for him and it is never a surprise to me when he has something new to talk about. He has his opinions about every life topic there is and knows how to judge them well. Speech and debate is his all time favorite class. He always has reasonable answers and opinions to every speech topic given and can communicate well with others for their point of views. He always waits for the person to speak their point of view. Ivan is very critical when it comes to opinions. He will always speak loud and proud of his believes and try to get others to follow along with him or at least understand where he is coming from. He will never go Ito a topic he doesn't understand or is not passionate about because if he is not feeling the subject then there is no possible way he can make another person do so. He can never be rude or inconvenient to anyone because of different opinions. There is always respect for others because he treats everyone the way he would want to be treated. He knows exactly how to plan his next step towards anything he puts mind into. Being scared is not a word in this guys vocabulary. He is intelligent enough to know what to say and what is the appropriate time to do so. Even though he can be positive most of the time, he can still have his moments of trying to control everything. He is a special kind of guy that likes things done his way because he think that’s the right way they should be. At times it can be a bit difficult to deal with but I know that he means well with his positive attitude. Nothing bad ever steps in his way of him receiving what he wants and what he truly believes is right. It’s similar to a well educated business man that dreams of having everything but can only be received with hard work and knowledge of what’s happening in the world around us today. He also enjoys to make his own conclusions to every problem there is, but he always keeps a good mind about everything and never wishes for the worst. He loves to be educated and that’s why he enjoys to read because that’s a great way to start getting educated. He is always keeping up with all his work and responsibilities that he has and almost rare that he doesn’t keep his promises. He is well-educated in everything he sets his mind in doing. People around him admire him for his educated personality and ability to be able to win over anyone with his good looks and charms of a man.
